BONNIE BIRD THEATRE
LONDON, UK
ROLE: CHOREOGRAPHER
DANCERS: SOPHIA DOUGLAS, AMELIA MAUDERLI, ETSUKO TANAKA
The creative process with the dancers began as an exploration of ‘relocation,’ which grew into an exploration of running, repetition, the mundaneness of cycles, the desire to break from routine and the relationships formed in the process. The concept of evolution became central to the work, and the clips chosen here aim to demonstrate various moments in the evolution of the And What if I Ran?.
